Meeting of the Foreign Minister of Armenia with the State Minister of Qatar

On May 27, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with State Minister of Qatar Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi.

The interlocutors discussed the efforts aimed at expanding the Armenia-Qatar political dialogue. The readiness to use the momentum established through high-level mutual visits and to develop cooperation in specific sectoral areas was emphasized.

The Foreign Minister of Armenia and the State Minister of Qatar explored opportunities for promoting investments.

The meeting included an exchange of views on security issues in the South Caucasus and the Middle East. The situation in Gaza was also touched upon.

Minister Mirzoyan presented the efforts aimed at achieving peace in the region, particularly toward signing the Agreement on peace and establishment of interstate relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
